MEET THE FOUNDER
Anita likes to describe herself as a regular mother of three beautiful children who she homeschooled for several years. She is the Visionary-Founder of a growing NGO called Patches of Africa and walks in the grace of a Seer-prophet.
Patches of Africa aims to raise women to pray prophetically over their countries in a bid to change its spiritual climate; to empower women to create wealth in order to affect their communities; to mentor young men and women across the continent so as to raise next generation leaders, one “Patch” at a time.
Prior to building Patches of Africa, she co-founded 2 churches in the UK and later in Nigeria. Anita attended Domata school of Missions and Grace Bible School, both in Oklahoma, USA. She also attended Victory Church Bible school in the UK where she served as a counsellor.
As co-partner in building the two churches she established and led the children and youth ministry, grounding them in the word and in prayer. She founded TAG and INSPIRE in order to have the church youth use their music, drama, arts and crafts to fundraise for youth and children within the underprivileged community.
Passionate about intercessory prayer, Anita also led the women to continuously and fervently pray for their children; she continues to do so through social media.
With a Masters degree in Applied Anthropology and Community & Youth work, Anita has spent several years working with street kids in the UK. She is still just passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people as she was then, this time over a larger playing field.
She also holds a PG Diploma in Printing and Publishing which she gained after graduating with a B.A. degree in English studies.
Anita is the author of Visions and Dreams of the Last Days, a compilation of prophetic dreams that shows how God not only reveals things clearly to His prophets but shows us how to navigate the season we are in.
She also writes prayers, poetry, plays and prose all of which she describes as God-breathed.
What Anita is most passionate about is the presence of God, and enforcing the Kingdom of God in here on earth. She aspires to leave you hungry for more of God.
She is quick to point out that she is a pretty ordinary person who walks in the extraordinary because she was drawn in by the love of the Father who invited her on an adventure.
Two things you are likely to hear her say are, “God is crazy in love with me!” and secondly, “He has given me Africa as my inheritance.”
