Legacy is the youth arm of Patches of Africa. Our motto is I.C.E. Which stands for Integrity. Creativity. Excellence.

Patches of Africa along with a group of very successful men and women (our Patch Partners) are supporting this quest with the aim of arousing authentic integrity, creativity and excellence in each youth. Qualities we feel are necessary to change the narrative of Africa because these young men and women are being groomed for leadership in their fields. They are the future of our continent.

Patches of Africa and the Patch Partners would like to train young men and women;to see them transformed into amazing people that can impact and transform their community, country or/and continent. We offer continuing support via the recommendation of material/books, social media or in person, where they can learn and grow, share their stories and celebrate their success together with the help of skilled, successful, and dedicated men and women who truly believe in young people and in a brighter, better Africa – helping them see what they could achieve, and giving them the skills, confidence and ambition to go for it.

This is life-changing support that will helps thousands of young people from across Africa, with a diverse range of backgrounds, to thrive. It’s inspiring. It’s empowering. And it will work. We know it will work because we’re in this for the long haul, where every success story writes the first chapter of the next…we’re just getting started. Part of our goal is to connect African youth in the same field or profession with others in the same space all across our continent, and in the diaspora, so as to form common networks in order to foster peer collaboration and break down barriers between countries, tribes and cultures. We are ONE and we are AFRICA.

This is a passionate, properly funded youth provision, with no if’s or but’s. A unique partnership between young people and Patch partners, private business leadership, and a growing movement of supporters who believe that how we treat the next generation defines who we are as a society.

Because when we really invest in young people, we all benefit – from who they are now, everything they might become and achieve, and everyone they might touch and inspire.
All they need is the chance to shine – an environment where they can be their best selves – and you just watch them go.

It’s about opportunity. You and I have the opportunity to change the face of the African continent by changing or aiding the trajectory our youth are on. They need a proper education through university scholarships, sponsorship, the right mentorships, apprenticeships, internships, coaching etc. We believe that there are successful Africans on the continent and in the diaspora who can help make a difference. We of course welcome our non-African FRIENDS OF PATCHES who have a heart for the well-being of our nations.
